Today is the birthday of Nigerian rapper Lynxxx.
Lynxxx whose real names are Chukie Edozien is the creator of the sub-genre of Naija pop music known as ‘Jollof Musik’.
Lynxxx who is the son of former deputy governor of old Bendel State in Nigeria Chief John D. Edozien attended Corona Primary School, Ikoyi and Kings College. He obtained a degree in Business, Economics and Marketing from University of Hull.
As the Head of Syndik8 Records he released his debut single ‘Change Your Parade’ in 2009 which gave him a strong head start in the music scene.
He released his debut album ‘This Is Lynxxx’ the following year. Lynxxx holds the record as being the first Nigerian artiste to be endorsed by Pepsi.
Lynxxx is currently working on his second album.
