2015 10 prominent Nigerians who died this year

In 2015, Nigeria lost a number of prominent citizens including royal fathers and politicians to the cold hands of death.
Some of the deceased passed away suddenly and unexpectedly while yet others went quietly.
Here are 10 prominent Nigerians we lost in 2015:

All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Prince Abubakar Audu died suddenly on November 22, after contesting the elections on November 21 and being in the lead. Reports say he suffered a massive stroke which led to his death.

The Nigerian Ambassador to the United States of America, Adebowale Adefuye died on Thursday, August 27, in Washington DC. Adefuye was said to have suffered a seizure while in his car and reportedly died before he could get medical attention.

Former Bayelsa State governor, Diepreye Solomon Alamieyeseigha died suddenly on October 10 after reportedly having a cardiac arrest. Current Governor, Seriake Dickson said later that Alamieyeseigha lost his life because he was harassed and forced to abandon the medical treatment which he was undergoing abroad.
