A cleaner at the Murtala Mohammed Airport (MMA2) Abayomi Oluwole, has been promoted to the position of a supervisor because of his honesty in returning a passenger's money.

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), gathers that Oluwole was on duty on July 30, 2016, when he found a bag that a passenger had forgotten  containing a huge amount of money, two cheque books, one international passport, two iPhone, 5 handsets and the particulars of a vehicle among others items, and promptly handed the bag to the security officials at the terminal.
The security men traced the owner of the bag and handed it to him and he was very grateful and promised to let the management know of the honest staff.
The reward for Oluwole's honesty duly came on Thursday, October 13, 2016, when the management of Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL), operator of the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2 (MMA2), honoured him by promoting him to the higher position.
The Chief Executive Officer of BASL, Capt. Jari Williams, while presenting a Certificate of Commendation, a table fridge, and money to Oluwole, said his gesture has further shown that staff of the company are courteous, truthful and upright.
“What the young man has done, without being prompted, is a reflection of what BASL instills in its staff and service providers: that honesty, service delivery and good customer relation pay,” Capt. Williams said.

Williams further advised Oluwole to continue the good work, noting that honesty with hard work have rewards.
