In an interview, Ali’s son revealed that his late father’s brother,
Rahman has been cut from his will which has sparked the feud.
The family of late boxing legend Muhammad Ali has been in a bitter feud for his £40million fortune since his death in June 2016.
In an interview, Ali’s son revealed that his late father’s brother, Rahman has been cut from his will which has sparked the feud.
He also revealed that Rahman has been banned from a family meeting in Los Angeles to discuss the estate of the boxing legend.
“Rahman is really
hurt because Lonnie didn't invite him to the family part of the
funeral. He was meant to be at the hospital, but she didn't tell him
about that,” Muhammad Jnr told Sunday Mirror.
“He
would benefit from the will the most. I'll give him some... I feel we
all should. It could be the final nail in the coffin if we don't help
him.”
Rahman has a long-standing feud with Ali’s wife, Lonnie.
Muhammad Jnr is also at war with Lonnie whom he thinks has included her adopted son with the boxing great, Asaad in the will.
Asaad who is 30 has also been excluded from family gatherings.
Ali’s will was said
to have been finalised more than 10 years ago but still has to be
administered by Lonnie who is the trust to it.
