Deadly cultists arrested for murder in Lagos

Two deadly cult members involved in the murder of a rival gang member Lekki have been arrested by the police.

Two members of rival cult gangs, Shola Faratimi and Bolaji Elewuro, have been arrested by the Area J Police Command, Elemoro, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State, following their involvement in some murder cases in the area.

Daily Trust reports that detectives attached to the station, acting on a tip-off, arrested the  duo during a violent clash between the Eiye and Aiye cult groups during which one Adisa Gbalaya, was  allegedly shot dead.
While parading the suspects, the State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, said the suspects were part of the group terrorizing Ikota, Ajah and Lekki communities and had been on the wanted list of the police for many months
