The president made the nominees known to the Senate via a letter which was read during its plenary session on Tuesday.
President Muhammadu Buhari has nominated two persons as Justices of the Supreme Court.
Buhari is said to have sent the names of Justice Sidi Dauda Bage (North-Central) and Justice Paul Adamu (North-East) to the Senate for confirmation for positions in the apex court.
The
president made the nominees known to the upper legislative chamber via a
letter which was read during its plenary session on Tuesday, October
11.
Buhari said further in the letter, which was read by Senate President, Bukola Saraki, that the nomination was in compliance with a relevant constitutional provisions.
