President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the Super Eagles for their 2-1 win over Zambia.

After the win, Buhari congratulated the Gernot Rohr-led-team for their win via Twitter.

journey. Nigerians are looking forward to Russia 2018!” the president official Twitter account wrote.
First half goals from Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho gave Nigeria 2-0 lead before Collins Mbesuma pulled one back for Zambia.
The Super Eagles will play Algeria at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo in the next match-day of the qualifiers
