Former Ghana international, Malik Jabir has blamed sex for the decline of football in Ghanaian domestic league.
After retiring from football Jabir became a coach and now manages in the Ghanaian league with Asante Kotoko.
Speaking recently, the former footballer says players in the league are not progressing because they are having too much sex.
“A lot of today’s players cannot play 90 minutes because they get so tired easily," he told a national radio station.
"And you know why? Because they don’t sleep enough and don’t train enough and they engage in too much sex.
"There are beautiful young girls in Ghana and they won’t leave them alone."
Further speaking, Jabir advised the players to have a balance between football and sex.
"There is time for sex and time for football, but if you mix the two you will never reach the top."
